Stories of Faith – Baltimore Ravens – Day 2

Here are a few more stories about Christians on the Baltimore Ravens.  Enjoy and feel free to share them.

Anquan Boldin – One of my favorite receivers in the NFL back from the days when he was a Cardinal.  Bleacher Report placed him on their all-Jesus team.
Boldin describes himself as being very competitive.

Tyrod Taylor – He is the Ravens back-up quarterback, in his second year out of Virginia Tech. You can check out this article written about him in college by Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  It is an in depth article about his faith in God.

Billy Bajema- Read a great interview with Billy Bajema at Inspiring Athletes.  In College, Bajema was the 2004 winner of the Bobby Bowden award, presented by Fellowship of Christain Athletes presented to a College football player for their achievements on the field and in the classroom and for their conduct as a faith model in the community

Justin Tucker – The Ravens rookie kicker learned tragically lost a friend at a young age and learned to lean on God and be grateful for each opportunity.  Read more here.

I am going to extend my “Blindside” give away until Wednesday night.  Be sure to let me know that you want to be entered in the drawing.

  1. Jeff says:

Anquan Boldin has been a favorite of mine since he put up huge numbers as a rookie. His numbers dropped a lot after Kurt Warner retired but that happens to most WR who played with Warner.

Its great to see Anquan serving the Lord. He is a man of action. I’m sure it was an amazing experience to go to Africa last summer and help the poor. I pray God will bless him and give him a heart to continue to serve.
